What a fabulous collection! Loved the exquisitely embroidered sarees, dupattas and stoles. Colour, design and kantha embroidery- all are spectacular! Lovely staff, soft spoken, knowledgeable and friendly. And icing on the cake- their collection is priced very reasonably- making this store a must visit in Kolkatta. Loved every minute at The Kantha Store and look forward to returning on another visit!

I recently visited Farah Khan's kantha store at Park Street.This was my second visit.l had earlier purchased 2 sarees.This time l had a chance encounter with the owner herself who is very charming. Her vibrant presence and her rich collection was just superb.

Ever since, I have been planning my purchase based on a whim - a Jamkantha saree that I had seen elsewhere and I had wanted to recreate . I sourced this beautiful electric blue Kantha dupatta from Farah's store and teamed it with a red Jamdani saree to make a lovely saree for myself - hope you all liked my work.
